I first met Jan in 1991 when I was called to a church in St. Thomas, Ontario where she and her husband served as elders. They became foundational members of our outreach ministry to the disenfranchised. Jan has become has been a very important partner in ministry and dear friend, helping when needed, faithfully praying for me and my family, and always encouraging me in my faith journey.

Roxanne was on the search committee when I came to Alma Street Presbyterian Church. I served with her in her capacity as church treasurer on the Board of Managers. In addition to her Board responsibilities Roxanne regularly attended Bible studies and assisted with our VBS.

I am honored to offer a recommendation for Rosanne Prevett who I have known through many roles including as my pastor, as my friend, as youth leader for my children, as a Mom, as team leader and player, and as life group coach. During our 30-year relationship, I’ve seen her in many settings: having fun with young folks; bonding with needy children in after school and lunch programs; and serving beans in a soup kitchen. Her words are always a blessing. Rosanne has a quiet strength. She is particularly competent in pastoral care, being sensitive and alert to the burdens of others.
